Absolutely fabulous! I really like the A&As, and the shield transfers and basing set them off very nicely. The green bosses are fun!

The socks on the horses look great.
ReplyDeleteLOL ;-)
DeleteYah, nice clean work on these. Terrific stuff.
ReplyDeleteMar-ver-lous ol'boy. Beautiful brush work Tarty, I really do think you have nailed this painting lark perfectly.
ReplyDeletesupurb mate, I really like them........ cannot wait to vs them on the table .........and watch them perish under a flurry of arrows!
ReplyDeletecheers
Matt
This is a wonderful army you're putting together, Tarty!
ReplyDeleteA&A packs a ton of detail on their figs. Just look at all the bronze disks on the horse tack. You really make these figures come to life and the Draco is just a cherry on the top!
Cheers all......these were a bit of an experiment. I painted the horses with a wash over a single base colour ( not the norm for me ) , anyway they turned out OK I think. I'll do the rest of the army the same, quiet happy with the results.
DeleteIs it a violation of some blogging statute to double post, so far apart? I was admiring these yet again when I noticed that you'd painted the horses teeth! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHahaha .....yes teeth.....I actually DO have better things to do, I'm really quiet mad I think. Nothing wrong with revisiting old posts Monty, always good to hear new feed back. Cheers mate....I'm honoured.
