My first two units of cavalry for this army finished....still haven't posted up pics of the rest of the infantry yet....hmmmm, next post.

Love this A&A range.....rapidly becoming one of my favourites.
This is a wonderful army you're putting together, Tarty!
A&A packs a ton of detail on their figs. Just look at all the bronze disks on the horse tack. You really make these figures come to life and the Draco is just a cherry on the top!
Cheers all......these were a bit of an experiment. I painted the horses with a wash over a single base colour ( not the norm for me ) , anyway they turned out OK I think. I'll do the rest of the army the same, quiet happy with the results.
Is it a violation of some blogging statute to double post, so far apart? I was admiring these yet again when I noticed that you'd painted the horses teeth! Wonderful!
Hahaha .....yes teeth.....I actually DO have better things to do, I'm really quiet mad I think. Nothing wrong with revisiting old posts Monty, always good to hear new feed back. Cheers mate....I'm honoured.

Absolutely fabulous! I really like the A&As, and the shield transfers and basing set them off very nicely. The green bosses are fun!
