Friend of mine runs this DBA tournament for kids every year in Greenwich ( Sydney) which is great I think, the kids absolutely love it and he's getting a good following now. Thought it was worth a post on the blog at least....good on you Peter......get them in young buddy.
Each table is set up with fixed historical opponents and fixed terrain, the kids then rotate....nice and simple. One or two of the dads step in and play occasionally .....they can't help themselves hahahaha
I agree that it is a step forward to bring the youngsters into the fold at an early age.
ReplyDeleteKudos to your friend, Peter, for organizing should an event. I like the trophies too.
What a great initiative! They even got a young lady playing there, that's an omen of success. ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrophies are a nice touch, too, and definitely an incentive to play well. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, SG
