A&A Romans

Finished a new unit this week......and here it is. Really enjoying painting these figures I must say, they're great to paint. As the heading suggests these are from the fabulous A&A late Imperial Roman range, shield transfers are LBM. I think a unit of Clibinarii next for these chaps, I've finished off more foot units but just haven't got around to posting up some pic's yet but I shall do......

  1. Quite delightful, a top notch bit o painting that. Bit worried about the chap having a "choof" in the middle there, dont want to be too relaxed with fighting an all!
The obligatory Q n A, where and who, shield designs?

    Very impressed Tarty

  5. Once again, wonderful to look at. There is so much detail poured into each of these.

I'm thinking these are too nice to put on a table! Some oaf might spill beer on them or even worse, touch them! ;-)

    1. hahaha.....they are quite solid though, actually all the A&A range are rather stout. A little beer wouldn't be so bad, but you wouldn't want to drop em .......there's a bit of weight when you've got a group together like this :(

  6. Cracking mate.........I am worried they will be run over by some really cheap unit of Goths or Alamani!!!

see you and them on the table in the campaign.....perhaps!!

    cheers

  8. Very nicely done. And I like how the edge of the base is painted green.
