Roman Clibinarii

Latest unit of heavy cavalry for my 3rd C Romans, and probably the last for the moment as I need to concentrate on getting some light support troops up and running now....... 28mm A&A for Impetus.

  4. Just saw these from the TMP posting. Lovely work - on these and your other figures - late Romans always so visually appealling.
Love your groundwork too - great colours for semi-arid terrains.

  7. Beautiful work, Tarty! I love your cataphracts, all lined up and ready to run down the nearest foe. I bet they get a fistfull of dice at impact. Impetuous troops are so much fun in Impetus!

    1. Thanks Monty, yes their an aggressive bunch when they've got their blood up. You pay the points for them though ( urgh ! expensive ). Those Hungarians your doing will be dangerous as well though I'm sure.
