Greek Light Cavalry

First unit of Light Cavalry finished for my Impetus Athenian army......all 28mm Foundry.

  2. Love them, very clean crisp syle of painting. Really also like the little touches with the arrows, how did you do them may i ask..........need to maybe pinch idea mind you!

    1. Thanks....the arrows are a little bit fiddly, their just piano wire and folded paper glued ( inserted ) onto the end. Takes a few practice runs at it before mastering, but do few of them at the same time.

  3. Any chance of a close up of arrows, as not getting how you do it from description.....also what "type" (size/grade) piano wire? tutorial required please,lol.

    1. I'm not sure what gauge piano wire I've used, just kept pulling out bits from my spares box till I found one that looked fine enough for an arrow shaft. The feathers are just paper attached onto the wire with tweezers and white glue. I set them aside to dry, and then go back with a "sharp" craft knife and trim them up so they're all neat and " fletched like ". Drill some holes stick them in and paint.......done.
