Athenian Hoplites

Going back to this project after a break, so I thought I should post some pictures of what I've already done. All the figures are Foundry. I'm also learning to use my new camera so a bit of an photographic excersise, which is why there's so many pics. Thought I might as well post them all...why not.

  1. These are terrific. Shields really pop, and some nice tones / colours overall.

  4. I like your painting style! Great definition -- how do you do it. Black line, wash, prime black and leave a line? I'd love to know how you're getting this effect.

Brent it's just a black undercoat, and yes it's left to show in the under cuts etc.
